Anthony Imbert

Undergraduate Student

Anthony is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin Madison and an Undergraduate Research Fellow in the Neuroscience of Language and Neurological Disorders (NeuroLAND) Laboratory under the mentorship of Dr. Haley Dresang. He is pursuing a B.S. in Neurobiology with a minor in liberal arts and has conducted research examining language assessments using stroke-laterality cohorts. His current research investigates differences in lexical-semantic retrieval across the Multilingual Naming Test (MINT) and Verbal Naming Test (VNT) in individuals with left- and right-hemisphere stroke, using behavioral and longitudinal analyses to examine naming performance across study visits. Anthony has also contributed to research examining aphasia and semantic verbal fluency following stroke using the CHAT/CLAN software. His broader research interests include aphasiology, lexical-semantic processing, memory, cognitive neuroscience, and understanding how neurological injury affects language organization and recovery in the brain.
