Hadeel Manimaran

Hadeel is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. She joined NeuroLAND in Fall 2023 as part of the Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) cohort for the 2023-2024 academic year. In this role, she is working on the Natural Language Processing (NLP) project that utilizes Python and LLMs (like ChatGPT) to develop a standardized assessment for measuring semantic memory in Aphasia. Additionally, Hadeel joined the TMS Aphasia Action project in Summer 2024, which investigates the impact of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and gestures on verb retrieval in aphasia.
